Several home automation systems on the market today allow you to control all manner of home automation from your iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch. The systems allow you to control lighting, water sprinklers, AC systems and more.

Many of these systems also have rather expensive wall mounted touchscreen options. A company called iPort has launched a couple new wall mounts that let you use your iPod, iPhone, or iPad for touchscreens in the wall. The CM100 is for the iPod touch or iPhone and allows you to connect to music systems in the home.

The CM2000 is the iPad wall mount that offers the same features as the smaller CM100. The CM100 will sell for $250, the CM2000 sells for $499, and both are available right now.
