Do you love your Galaxy S smartphone but hate your carrier? Probably not, but if the urge strikes you, you'll be glad to know that change is extremely easy. TechTickerBlog reports that the XDA-Developers folks have found that each Gal S contains the unlock info for every carrier.
By just extracting the .BAK file info stored on each device, you can unlock it to another compatible carrier without rooting your phone. They've even put up re-locking instructions in case you need to send it off for repairs at some point.
