NFL Fines Bengals Player $25,000 for Tweets during Game

The NFL has fined the Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco $25,000 for violating league rules regarding social media during a recent NFL game. Apparently, the player posted to Twitter two times during the game.

One of the Tweets was to talk about a pass he caught during the pre-game warm-up. The next Tweet was to talk about a hard hit he took on a play. The NFL has a rule that states no use of social media from 90 minutes before kickoff until the media obligations are finished for the game.

Ochocinco apologized to the NFL via Twitter (naturally) and talked about the fine. He stated that the $25,000 was two months of his Bugatti payments and he would not break the rules again.
