What kind of name is Vivaz anyway?

September 5th will bring a new Sony Ericsson smartphone into the world, and this one will pack the Symbian OS. AT&T has sent out a press release announcing the launch of the Vivaz, which will cost just $79.99 with a 2-year contract.

Your cash buys a 3.2" touchscreen, 8.1 MP camera with the ability to take HD video, GPS and WiFi. You should note that the above price is after a $50 mail-in rebate. The display has a resolution of 360 x 640.
