The WePad Wins!

The question on everyone's mind now is; which tablet can beat the iPad? While we in the U.S. have no hard answer for that question yet, the Germans have found a ringer. The WePad has just outsold the iPad over in the Land of Chocolate (if you don't get that reference you need to watch more damn Simpsons).

NetbookNews reports that the WePad is number one, the Asus Eee PC T101MT is second and the iPad is third. The WePad sports an 11.6" display, Atom N450 processor, 1 GB of RAM, a 16 GB or 32 GB SSD and n WiFi. It has Bluetooth, GPS, 3G UTMS, a 1.3 MP webcam and Windows 7. The battery lasts six hours. HD video is supported via a Broadcom Crystal HD card.

Evidently, longevity is not as prized over in Germany as it is here. That, or they just view the WePad's vastly superior capabilities as worth the four hour sacrifice.
