LG has pulled the wraps off some cool gear at IFA 2010 and is showing some of it for the first time. Among the items is a slick LEX8 TV that lays claim to the title of world's slimmest TV at 0.88cm and boasts the narrowest bezel at 1.25cm in a full LED TV.

The set also has a Nano Lighting Technology backlight to provide a brighter, clearer, and smoother image. LG is also showing off the LX9500, which is the largest screen LED LCD set available with a 72-inch screen. That set was shown off back during CES as well.

Other cool new sets LG has on display include a massive 180-inch Plasma 3D TV prototype. The LG PX950N is also on display and is the first set in the world to get the 3D THX certification. LG also has a number of Blu-ray players on display including #d HR550, BD590, and BX580 models along with new home theater systems that support 3D Blu-ray.
