People love big screens.

This is a bit surprising. PocketNow reports that Krusell has just released their Top 10 list of hot-selling smartphones for August 2010. The number one spot belongs to a dumbphone, the Nokia 3720. Number two is the Samsung Galaxy S, which may have something to do with those million (and rising) sales.

Number 3 is the venerable HTC HD2, which has just managed to edge out the iPhone 4 despite the fact that it packs one of the worst mobile OSes ever designed. WinMo 6.5 is not enough of an anchor to keep a truly good phone down. The iPhone 3G was number 5, while the Samsung Wave is number 8 and the HTC Desire picked up the ten-spot.
