Buy This Now On Amazon

Apple is ready to expand the iPad channel.

Best Buy announced today that they will carry the Apple iPad in all stores starting September 26th. Best Buy has in-store Apple shops in 673 stores. That is why Best Buy was able to offer the iPad along with Apple stores so far. Now all 1,093 Best Buy stores will be carrying the iPad soon. This supports the rumors that Target will get the iPad on October 3rd.

I assume the iPad will be available at all major retailers that also offer iPods including Amazon and Walmart in early October.

Best Buy also says that they will offer a complete selection of iPad accessories beginning Sept. 26th. See also the iPad page on Best Buy.

When all major retailers will carry the iPad they will start to offer small discounts and, possibly more interesting, offer iPad bundle deals.
