HTC is rumored to release an Android Tablet in Q1 of 2011. More details surface.

A couple days we reported about a rumor that HTC will release an Android 3.0 Tablet in Q1 of 2011. Digitimes adding some more details about the HTC Tablet in a new report today. Taiwanese notebook maker Pegatron Technology is supposed to build the HTC Tablet.

The HTC Android Tablet is supposed to run on the NVIDIA Tegra 2 platform. Features of the HTC Tablet would include 1,280x720px resolution, 32GB SSD, Wi-fi, Bluetooth and GPS.

The Android community has high hopes that Android 3.0 (Gingerbread) is making Android Tablets competitive with the Apple iPad.
