Finally, another one

My Bloody Valentine 3D will be the second movie to be available at retail as a standalone Blu-ray 3D title, but you'll only be able to pick it up at Best Buy.

Customers with a Blu-ray 3D player have become frustrated that there isn't more available content. Depending on the 3D TV set owned, there are some exclusive titles available (Samsung has exclusivity deals with Dreamworks, Sony with Disney, and Panasonic gets first access to Avatar).

There is one title that's actually available in stores - Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. Finally, a second one is coming. My Bloody Valentine 3D will be available in Blu-ray 3D through Best Buy only, on October 5. The movie had previously been released on DVD with red-and-blue 3D glasses.

By the holiday shopping season, there should be several more titles available for the Blu-ray 3D format. By next year it will hopefully not be bogged down by these exclusivity deals.
