Early reports say yes.

If you've been eying a 4G device hungrily from somewhere inside San Francisco, today is going to be a very happy day for you. IntoMobile reports that Sprint's 4G network is finally live in that city of cities. While no official announcement has rolled out yet, Sprint appears to be testing the service and there are reports from users who have access to 4G data within the city limits.

Signal has been reported in Embarcadero, Soma and the Financial District. Average speeds are given as around 3 Mbps, with the highest reported being 9 Mbps. Have a 4G device? Live near San Fran? It might be time to run some tests.
