The new Kodak EasyShare M590 is the worlds thinnest 5x optical zoom camera according to Kodak.

The Photokina 2010 is still underway, but we have not heard much more new announcements besides the new cameras we already reported about in the weeks leading up to the largest camera trade-show. Kodak unveiled the Easyshare M590 end of August. The Kodak Easyshare M590 is the worlds thinnest 5x optical zoom camera according to Kodak. With 0.6-inches the M590 is really thin and the camera gives the Sony T-Series a run for the money in terms of looks.

Feature highlights of the Kodak EasyShare M590 include 14 megapixels for high-quality pictures, One-button upload to e-mail, Kodak Gallery, YouTube, Facebook, ORKUT, and FLICKR sites, Kodak’s Smart Capture feature, Kodak’s Face Recognition feature and 5X optical zoom with image stabilization.

The new Kodak EasyShare M590 has an MSRP of $199. Amazon is offering the M590 as Deal of the Day for only $149. This is almost a Black Friday worthy deal. The $149 sales price is good for each of the four colors the M590 is available: Blue, Purple, Silver and Red.
