Heavily modded.

Savant has just unveiled their latest product, which uses the core of an iPod touch as its basis. (SlashGear) The Savant Touch Remote has a new casing around the 3.5" retinal display that includes a bunch of extra physical controls. The OS is still 4.2, but Savant has added in a proprietary UI on top of that for remote duty.

You can still download apps, chat in Facetime and make VOIP calls with this remote. It also has RF connectivity, b/g/n WiFi and an estimated $399 price tag when it hits in Q1 2011. This is definitely one of the fancier home entertainment solutions you could think of getting.
