And then, suddenly, things got interesting.

We've seen the sexy white World Edition Droid 2 and heard rumors that it would be replacing the vanilla D2 in Verizon's inventory. Now we're hearing that this Droid will be more than just a radio upgrade.

Droid Life reports that a reasonably reliable source has reported an upgrade in the Droid 2 World Edition's processor. It will be an ARMV7 clocked to 1.2 GHz, which is shown in the above leaked screenshots of the WE's system info. Early Droid 2 buyers can start seething with jealousy...now!
