Lucky Italians.

We first saw the AlessiTab back in April. Now DesignBoom reports that this odd L-shaped tablet will be launching in Italy in November of this year. It is estimated to start at 399 Euro. The AlessiTab packs a 10.1" capacitive touchscreen, auto-rotation thanks to a gravitational sensor, Android 2.1, 1 GB of memory, b/g WiFi and DVB-T with antenna.

The AlessiTab has a microphone and camera, as well as HDMI-out. It has a USB port and an SD reader and a looks like just about the perfect thing to keep in your kitchen or on your desk as some sort of badass cyberpunk phone / rolodex / frame. The AlessiTab's main intended purpose seems to be in the kitchen. It even launches with a special gourmet recipe app.
