September is almost over, but Steve Jobs emails that all is good.

When Apple unveiled the new Apple TV Steve Jobs said it will ship in September. Now we are entering the last week of September and the Apple TV boxes have not started ship. According to MacRumors an Apple TV buyer emailed Steve Jobs about the Apple delivery schedule. Steve Jobs said "Yep" to the question if the Apple TVs start to ship early next week.

If you have pre-ordered your new Apple TV box early enough you should have one arrive before Friday next week. The Apple Store still states that it takes 2-3 weeks when you order an Apple TV now.

The new Apple TV runs on iOS and besides iTunes you can stream content from Netflix and YouTube to your HD TV. The new Apple TV has built-in HDMI, Wi-Fi, Ethernet and an internal power supply for easy set-up. The Apple TV is also key to the new AirPlay feature that will be available in iOS 4.2 coming this November.
