The Super Bowl 2011 is still a couple months away, but the first rumors about the Super Bowl . Last year the legendary rockband The Who starred in the Super Bowl halftime and not everybody was happy with that. The Super Bowl XLV will be held in North Texas in the Dallas Cowboys stadium. The local Dallas Observer has a report about a sticky rumor that the Super Bowl XLV halftime show will feature the Black Eyed Peas. This would be actually a nice contrast to last year's halftime show. The Black Eyed Peas are known world-wide and the choice would not cause any controversy.
Update:
It is official. The Black Eyed Peas play Super Bowl XLV Half-time Show.

The Black Eyed Peas also release just a new album titled The Beginning. Find all Black Eyed Peas albums on the Amazon Black Eyed Peas shop.

The NFL has of course no comment to this rumor. Last year the NFL announced the Super Bowl halftime show act in November. We will keep track of the developments on the Super Bowl 2011 halftime show.

Just like last year, I4U News will be featuring again the Super Bowl for Geeks Guide. Of course the Super Bowl 2011 for Geeks Guide will be all about the Super Bowl Commercials and not the game.
