Origin PC Debuts Powerful Eon17 Gaming and Multimedia Notebook

Lots of power and Blu-ray too

Origin may be one of the newest names on the gaming computer scene, but it has some of the coolest new computers for users to choose from. The company has unveiled its latest gaming/multimedia computer today called the Eon17. As the name suggests the machine has a 17.3-inch screen.

That big screen has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a 16:9 aspect ratio. The notebook can be fitted with dual GeForce GTX 480M GPUs. It also has a Blu-ray drive that can burn to Blu-ray and all other media as well as play 3D Blu-ray movies.

The notebook has HDMI 1.4 output for watching 3D content on a big screen. The CPU inside the machine is a Core i7-908X with six cores and it can be fitted with up to 24GB of RAM. The notebook supports three HDDs for up to 2TB in storage or more. Pricing for the machine starts at $2499.
