The preview of the new Xbox Live Fall Update is online.

The Xbox 360 Xbox Live Fall Dashboard update got released in a preview. Several tech sites already spent hands-on time with the new Xbox Dashboard and published reviews. This new Xbox Live Dashboard update is not huge, but it brings ESPN for those who are into sports. There is also a new Music channel and Netflix got improved and got search. The ESPN experience has its limitations. It requires ESPN3 affiliation of your ISP. The Seattle PI has more details on ESPN on the Xbox 360.

Microsoft also updated the design of the Dashboard again. It got a cleaner look. Lastly the update also prepares your Xbox 360 for Kinect, which will launch on November 4th. Make sure you clean up your room until then.

There aren't any surprises and the first reviews do not find any big negatives besides the issues around ESPN.
