Boy, does it ever.

If you've been planning on buying a T-Mobile G2, you may want to reconsider. Engadget reports that some users have noticed that the hinge for the QWERTY keyboard has a tendency to snap after regular use. There are also "loose and faulty connections" between the screen and the keyboard.

And that isn't the only issue. Some models have apparently shipped with just half the storage space promised. Instead of 4 GB, we're seeing 2 GB. This is a major issue, which could make the phone almost unworkable (in the case of the keyboard issue). HTC or T-Mobile is going to need to hand out SD cards (at least) to deal with the storage problem. What a mess.
