Don't Miss: This How to find Fingerlings in Stock

It isn't pretty.

Looking for something that will simultaneously make your iPad way easier to use and five times less sexy? Colorware has your back (via Gearlog). They've just launched the Grip, which is built from aircraft aluminum and gives your iPad protection and a hideous white handle.

There are three versions. One is for an unpainted iPad and the other two are matte or glossy versions for a Colorware-painted iPad. As ugly as this thing is, having a handle like that will make bed and couch browsing SO MUCH more comfortable. If the design didn't provoke such squamous discomfort in my gut, I'd think a handle like this was a fantastic idea on any tablet.

The iPad is a fairly light gadget, but it still gets tiring after extended periods of time reading one-handed. This will stop that, and make it way harder to accidentally fling your 'pad across the room when using Wikipedia to settle a drunken bet. The cost? A "mere" $300. It'll ship in three to four weeks, which is just enough time to regret spending three hundred freaking dollars on something that makes your slick iPad look like a child's toy.
