Zoom has unveiled a new portable hand held camcorder that can record HD video and HD audio called the Q3HD. Many of the little handheld portable camcorders can do HD video, but fall flat when it comes to audio performance. The new camcorder is capable of 1080p at 30 fps and 720p at 30 or 60 fps.

The camcorder also has a 4x digital zoom and has an aperture that is paired with three light settings for the perfect amount of light in each shot. The camera also has the Zoom H4n microphone capsules inside with a 120-degree X/Y pattern. The audio levels can be adjusted on the camera.

The little camera records in MPEG-4 AVC format and has a 2.4-inch LCD with a resolution of 320 x 240. It has an integrated USB cable and HDMI output. The camera will sell for $299.
