Sprint and Verizon will join in in 2011

The Worldwide Windows 7 Launch event will be hosted by Microsoft on October 11th. Based on leaked information on the Microsoft site we know that there is one event for customers that will have T-Mobile present WP7 handsets. Another event for the press has AT&T as headlining carrier. The two other big carriers in the United States are not part of the launch. Sprint and Verizon have the "wrong" network. The first generation Windows Phone 7 devices are only GSM, which is a very European trait. That is why in the UK all major carriers will offer the Windows Phone at launch.

We expect that Microsoft will unveil all Windows Phone 7 devices on October 11th that will be on the market in 2010. The sales launch of WP7 devices is supposed to be in November. We have round-up the current rumored Windows Phone 7 handsets in a report.
