This is the perfect accessory for working, surfing the web, reading, watching video and more on the iPad

The iHolder iPad Stand has a metal base with a gray rubber non-skid pad on the bottom. The plastic part of the stand that actually holds the iPad is plastic. The iPad can adjust through three different positions and can be rotated for landscape or portrait modes. The iHolder iPad Stand is available right now for $49.99.

In Use

I like to read with my iPad and I spend more time reading books than I do anything else on the tablet. I have often wished for a stand to hold the iPad at a higher level than holding it or laying it on my desk. As soon as I pulled the iHolder iPad Stand out of the package, I knew this thing would be perfect for me. Assembly of the iHolder iPad Stand is very easy. It ships in a box in two pieces. The plastic section that holds the iPad is not connected to the metal base.

Setting the stand up requires you to remove a couple thumb screws from the plastic iPad holder and then place the holder in the base and reinstall the thumb screws securing the plastic part. The plastic section of the iHolder iPad Stand seems a bit thin, but does an excellent job of holding the iPad securely. In fact, it was rather difficult for me to get my iPad out of the stand after using it.

The only thing that is a pain in the butt about using the iHolder iPad Stand is that you can't put your iPad into it with a case on the iPad. I had to remove my iPad silicone case to use the iHolder iPad Stand. This isn’t a fault of the stand mind you, simply something, you need to be aware of if your iPad silicon case is hard to get on and off.

The stand adjusts through three viewing angles much like any other LCD you would encounter. The design of the iHolder iPad Stand is very Apple and looks like something they would offer. The coolest part about the stand is that the iPad looks just like a small computer display. In fact, this is absolutely the best stand I have ever seen for working using the iPad. It's like a tiny AIO computer when paired with a Bluetooth keyboard. You can comfortably work all day using this thing.

The stand is also excellent if you like to use the iPad as digital photo frame. You can put the tablet into the stand and view the photos from across the room. The iHolder iPad Stand will work with any version of the iPad and isn’t affected by scratch films on the front of the iPad. This thing is simply fantastic!

  • Fantastic design
  • Excellent for working from an iPad with a BT keyboard
  • Three screen angles

  • iPad is hard to remove from the holder

The iHolder iPad Stand is one of my favorite iPad accessories that I have ever tested. The thing is well made, works fantastically, and is one thing that any iPad user that uses the tablet a lot will want. This should be on your shortlist of accessories to purchase.
