Verizon will hold a press-conference today at the CTIA Enterprise & Applications show in San Francisco about their 4G LTE plans. We already know that Verizon Wireless expects to commercially launch its LTE 4G network in up to 30 markets in 2010. Let's hope there are some more exciting 4G LTE news at 11:30 am PDT today. How about a Verizon 4G iPhone? Just kidding. I expect though that Verizon will unveil devices that can be used with the 4G LTE network. Earlier this year reports appeared that Verizon is not launching a 4G phone in 2010.

MetroPCS has launched an LTE network in Las Vegas with the Samsung Craft LTE phone last month. This should actually be enough to trigger Verizon to also offer at least one phone for its upcoming LTE network in 2010.
