Verizon iPhone is real

The WSJ just released a story that says so.

The Wall Street Journal just blasted out a report before the Verizon LTE event saying that Apple is indeed making a Verizon iPhone and that it will be launching early 2011. Apple is supposed to start mass producing the Verizon iPhone by the end of this year.

The new Verizon iPhone will look similar to the iPhone 4. The only difference is the support of CDMA. This would mean the Verizon iPhone is not LTE yet.

Why WSJ is issuing this report now is unclear. They do not name a new source. This has been rumored all along over the past year.

Let's see if there is an official announcement from Verizon today about the Verizon iPhone.

Verizon denied Verizon iPhone in their LTE press-conference yesterday. Here we go again. The Verizon iPhone rumor stays a rumor.
