ESPN 3D To Broadcast NBA Game For First Time December 17

Swooshing action like never before to ensue

As it continues to add more and more content to its very ambitious first-of-its-kind network, ESPN 3D has just announced its schedule for NBA games over the upcoming winter season.

This will be the first time ESPN 3D is set to air basketball games. It has previously shown baseball, football, and soccer matches.

ESPN 3D is getting more exposure. It's currently on DirecTV and AT&T's Uverse services, and Time Warner Cable just reached an agreement with ESPN's parent company, Disney, that brings with it the 3D channel. Time Warner Cable is the single largest cable operator in the country.

The full 3D NBA schedule on NBA 3D is as follows:

Fri, Dec. 17 7 p.m. Miami at New York
Fri, Jan. 14 10:30 p.m. Portland at Phoenix
Fri, Jan. 21 10:30 p.m. Los Angeles at Denver
Fri, Feb. 11 8 p.m. Los Angeles at New York
Fri, Feb. 25 8 p.m. Oklahoma City at Orlando
Fri, March 4 7 p.m. Chicago at Orlando
Wed, March 16 8 p.m. Oklahoma City at Miami
Fri, April 1 8 p.m. Boston at Atlanta
