The Windows Phone 7 smartphones have officially launched yesterday. In the UK the first Windows Phone 7 devices go on sale on October 21. Amazon UK starts off with offering the HTC 7 Trophy unlocked for £429.99. The HTC Trophy will ship on November 8th.

HTC 7 Trophy harnesses the power of Xbox LIVE. Gamers will enjoy the speed and responsiveness of fast action gameplay supported by the phone's high-performance 1GHz Snapdragon processor, and controlled through the vivid WVGA 3.8" touchscreen. High-fidelity, virtual surround sound - through SRS WOW HD - brings a rich audio experience whether the user is playing a game, watching a video or listening to their favorite music.

For early adopters in the United States importing an unlocked Windows Phone 7 from the UK could make sense. There should be more offers of unlocked Windows Phone 7 coming soon.

More details about the HTC 7 Trophy offer can be found on Amazon.
