Quanta isn't satisfied sitting in the shadows and watching Apple gobble up all of the hype and love and billions of retail dollars. They want their own, Quanta-branded hot product to sell. According to Fudzilla, that product will be a netbook/smartphone hybrid device. It will be a "computer in an iPhone form factor" and sport a 3.5" touchscreen display.

The "netphone" will be able to make and receive voice calls, as well as access the Internet. Whether the calling will work via a VOIP client or through traditional cell networks is unclear. ARM and Qualcomm have both been approached to provide chips for Quanta's new baby. Sadly, that's the extent of our knowledge here. We'll keep an ear out on this one, though.
