T-Mobile's data cap currently stands at 10 GB per month. Use any more than that, and your download speeds will be throttled. If this info tipped to T-Mo News is correct, that cap is about to be cut in half. Starting October 16th, users will see their download speeds cut down if they use more than 5 GB in a month.
According to T-Mo, this will only affect around 1% of their user base. Once you start to run up on the cap, a text message will inform you that you're exceeding your allotment.
