New XPS line aims for multimedia fans

Dell has been offering XPS computers for a long time and today the company relaunched the line with some new notebooks. The new machines are offered in 14", 15", and 17" screen sizes and all are 3D TV ready and support 3D gaming and movies.

The notebooks come with an aluminum skin or can be ordered through the Studio offerings with one of 100 different designs on the top. The machines share many of the same features with integrated JBL certified speakers, NVIDIA GPUs with 1GB to 3GB of RAM just for the video cards and Blu-ray drive options.

The notebooks all use GeForce 400 series GPUs and come with Optimus tech to save power and extend battery life. All of the machines use LED backlit screens and have Intel Core processor options. There are many options for the notebooks and prices start at $899 for the XPS 14, $849 for the XPS 15, and $949 for the XPS 17.
