One more chunk of clutter removed.

Mac owners, say goodbye to your scroll bars. At least while you aren't using them. AppleInsider has been looking over the images from Apple's Wednesday presentation. They've managed to find something interesting in all the screenshots of apps running in Lion.

Check the image above, with the Mission Control screen showing a bunch of open windows. Notice that none of them have visible scroll bars. The same thing can be found across images from the presentation. Apple has removed visible scroll bars from almost every program. The bar only appears when you actually start to scroll.

This change brings Lion one step closer to iOS, and gives Apple more free screen real-estate to work with.
