Is Global roaming worth $99?

The Motorola Droid Pro is set to hit Big Red's network for a rather high price. Droid Life reports that a test site for the Pro has gone live. It outs a price of $299 for the new phone with a two-year contract. That's high as hell for a subsidized handset, but that may be the price-point Verizon wants for their Global phones.

The Pro packs a 3.1" multitouch display, BlackBerry-style QWERTY keyboard, 3G, WiFi, 5 MP camera and a 1 GHz CPU. It has 4 GB of storage and launches with Android 2.2 and a ton of corporate security features.
