The new color eReader from B&N is on sale.

B&N launched a new version of their nook eReader yesterday. You can already order the new nookcolor Wi-Fi on the B&N site for $249. The nookColor will start to ship free on November 19th.

The new nook features a 7" color touchscreen and built-in Wi-Fi. That screen has a 1024 x 600px resolution and is backlit. The new colorNook launches with 8GB, and can be expanded up to 32GB by the aid of a microSD card. The battery gives 8 hours of use with wireless off, and takes around 3 hours to charge from a wall outlet. It has a microUSB port and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

The colorNook also runs on Android and offers besides eBook reading tons of other features, like web browsing, games, media player and even Pandora Internet radio.
