Apple Hosting Developer Meetings Next Week?

iOS 4.2 is getting very close.

Those wascally wabbits out in Cupertino are up to something. BusinessInsider reports that Apple is holding a 3-day iOS developer event in California next week. The focus of the event seems to be to provide developers with easy access to Apple Engineers. Apple wants to improve app quality and prepare devs for the launch of iOS 4.2.

This is the update that will finally unify iPhone and iPad. Apple has a lot invested in making sure the App Store has plenty of goodies that can take advantage of 4.2. We'll update you if anything interesting leaks out of the summit.
