Amazon joins early Black Friday 2010 sales.

We reported a couple hours ago that Sears has officially announced their Black Friday Now Sales promotion starting this Friday. Sears will be not the only retailer that will offer deals this Friday that marks the beginning of the Black Friday 2010 Sales season. According to the New York Times, Amazon will be holding an electronics sale this Friday featuring deals on TVs and Blu-ray players. Update: Amazon announced Countdown to Black Friday Sale starting Fri Oct. 29.

I could not find any details on the specific deals yet. Amazon always has sales going on Blu-ray players and TVs. They would need to offer exceptional deals on Friday to make them stand out. Today you can for instance buy the LG BD570 Blu-ray player for $157.24 ($219 list price) on Amazon. The current bestselling TV is the 42-inch LG 42LD450 on sale for only $499.97.

We will keep an eye on the Amazon Electronics isle this Friday and feature the deals in case they are noteworthy. Shop Electronics on Amazon here.
