iPad holder for the knee

There are so many uses for the iPad that I am sure it would take a long time to figure them all out. One use for the tablet I never thought of is for pilots that use the iPad for navigation and other things when in the air. A new holder for the iPad has surfaced called the AppStation that is made specifically for pilots.

The holder has a strap with Velcro-style closure that wraps around the leg to secure the iPad holder. The iPad snaps into the holder and the holder has raised edges to prevent scratches if you sit the iPad on the screen. The AppStation works with any model of the iPad.

The holder portion of the AppStation is made from black polycarbonate. It has a curve on the back for comfortably fitting the leg and the top of the holder tilts up to angle the screen towards the user. This thing may be aimed at private pilots, but I think some people that fly a lot on business may like the AppStation for keeping their iPad safe and usable on flights.
