The first and only game confirmed so far is Live Poker. It's a social game that allows players to connect online and compete against each other.
Like so many other companies in this age of Facebook and iPhones, Zynga was a name nobody knew just a couple years ago but is now a bigger juggernaut in the industry than other publishers that have been around for decades.
After becoming the most well-known maker of games on Facebook, Zynga earlier this year launched a version of smash hit Farmville on the iPhone. It integrates into the user's Facebook account, allowing players to have one universal farm between both platforms.
As Android gamers are already well aware, the Android Market is sort of a black hole when it comes to games. That is, unless you happen to really like simple tic-tac-toe games developed by kids who are taking a computer programming class in high school.
Android is beginning to get some more gaming legs, most notably with the recent release of Angry Birds on the Android Market for free. That's brought out millions of downloads, something never before seen for an Android game.
Other than the simple announcement that Live Poker will come out, no other details have emerged. But if we were gambling people, we'd bet money that Farmville is gonna hit Android before too long.
