Amazon has launched their Black Friday countdown sale with the $39.99 Medal of Honor deal. The deals on Amazon today are red hot as several of them match the announced offers from Walmart and Best Buy. Now at 6am PDT Amazon offers the 55-inch 1080p HDTV for $898.99.

This deal is matches the Walmart Black Friday deal on the Walmart Vizio E550L. According to our Walmart Black Friday TV deal evaluation this is a good deal, but not exceptional. Features of the Vizio E550VL include 100,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 120Hz, 1920x1080px resolution, 500 nits brightness, 5ms response time, 178-degree view angles, 3 HDMI inputs, SRS TruVolume and SRS TruSurround HD.
