Microsoft is shipping the first Windows Phone 7 devices today. AT&T and T-Mobile are the first carriers selling Windows Phone 7 smartphones. T-Mobile offers the HTC HD7 and AT&T ships today the Samsung Focus and HTC Surround. The LG Quantum is available for pre-order and is supposed to ship mid-November. All Windows Phones available now sell for $199.99 with new contract direct from carriers.

Online retailers Amazon Wireless, Wirefly and LetsTalk offer discounts from $50 to $100 on the HTC HD7, HTC Surround and LG Quantum. The Samsung Focus is for now only available direct from AT&T. If we will see Penny deals like on Android phones on the new Windows Phone 7 phones soon remains to be seen. It will depend on the demand. If WP7 is not selling as expected prices will be cut.
