Kmart just started to offer a Sylvania Tablet. The Sylvania brand was quite a bit in the news because of the sub-$100 Sylvania netbook from CVS Pharmacy. The good news is that the Sylvania tablet runs on Android and not on Windows CE like the bargain netbook.
The Sylvania tablet hsas a 7-inch screen with 800x480px resolution, Android 2.1, 6 hour battery, 512MB RAM, 2GB Flash storage, microSD card slot supporting up to 16GB, Wifi 802.11g, 2 mini-USB ports and HDMI.
The description says that with Android 2.1 you will have access to thousands of apps. If true than you can access with this Android Tablet the Android Market App Store. With a price-tag of $179.99 I also would expect that. There are less expensive Android 2.1 tablets out there.

The Sylvania netbook will be on sale again on Black Friday at CVS Pharmacy stores.
