The latest rumor says that Apple will release iOS 4.2 next week on Nov. 24. MacRumors reports just now that Apple has already seeded Apple developers with golden master of iOS 4.2.1.

It looks like after we upgrade our iPhones and iPads with iOS 4.2 we are going to get another update relatively quickly. There are supposed only minor fixes in the iOS 4.2.1 release.

Apple has already the other updates necessary for Macs and iOS 4.2 play well together. You should have already upgraded your Mac to OS X 10.6.5 and updated your iTunes to 10.1.

Of course especially iPad owners are anxiously awaiting the iOS 4.2 update as it takes the iPad to a new level with multi-tasking and other features that iPhone owners already enjoy. The AirPrint and AirPlay features are the biggest new features all iOS devices gain with the iOS 4.2 update.
