New rumor confirms the new iPad to be released in Spring of 2011.

By now it is almost certain that Apple is not releasing a new iPad in 2010. To get FaceTime video conferencing capability on the iPad we have to wait until Spring of 2011. The new iPad 2 is supposed to have two cameras similar to the iPhone 4. Digitimes reports today that their sources say that iPad 2 suppliers are to ramp up production for February 2011 shipments.

The report also reveals new suppliers for the iPad 2. Companies named are Ibiden, Tripod and TTM. These companies will supply apparently any-layer HDI boards for the Apple iPad 2.

The current iPad gets a major functionality upgrade wtih the iOS 4.2 release, but of course as it is often the case the iPad you find under the Christmas tree on December 25th will be outdated a couple months later.
