Last month we talked a bit about the cool sounding Zoom Q3HD video recorder. We knew most of the specs of the device at the time, but the two key pieces of in for missing where when you could get one and how much it would cost you. Zoom has now finally offered up those two bits of info.

The Q3HD is shipping right now and it will set you back $299. If you missed, the talk about the camera last month the big claim to fame here is that the Q3HD has sound quality as good as its video recording quality. The device offers 1080p resolution at 30fps and has HD sound recording with 24-bit/96kHz sound.

In addition to supporting 1080p resolution, the camera can also record 720p resolution at 30 fps or 60 fps. Zoom also gives the camera three aperture settings to allow the recorder to get video that is exposed well no matter the lighting conditions you are recording in. The best use for this camera may be for recording concerts and the camera has a special lighting mode for concerts called easy enough "Concert Lighting."

The camera has a LCD on the back that you can watch your video on when on the go and it has a HDMI output that lets you shoot the video to your big screen. The USB cable for shooting the video between the camera and the computer is integrated. An accessory pack for the camera with a shell case, windscreen for the mic, AC adapter, and HDMI cable along with a tripod is available as well for $39.99.

The camera ships with a 2GB SD card for recording and will support up to 32GB SD cards. With the 32GB card, the camera can record seven hours of HD video. It comes with HandySahre software for editing video and gets power from a pair of AA batteries.
