The highly anticipated new World of Warcraft: Cataclysm release is on Tuesday Dec. 7. Best Buy will have 700 stores open at midnight for die-hard WoW fans to pick up a copy of WOW: Cataclysm as early as possible.

“We know how much our customers are looking forward to World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, so we’re excited to be a part of the eagerly anticipated launch and open our doors early to provide the ultimate PC gaming experience,” said Chris Homeister, senior vice president and general manager of the home entertainment group at Best Buy.

In support of the World of Warcraft: Cataclysm launch, Best Buy Blue Shirts will be on hand to assist customers in their quest to explore Azeroth's transformed zones; experience the new worgen and goblin playable races; tap into the new spells, talents, and abilities; and begin their journey to the new level cap of 85. World of Warcraft: Cataclysm offers to play two new races. Play with the cursed worgen with the Alliance or the resourceful goblins with the Horde. The level cap got increased to 85. You can gain new abilities, tap into new talents, and progress through the path system, a new way for players to improve characters. There are lots of other improvements.
