The Samsung Galaxy Tab is the only real challenger to the Apple iPad this Holiday season. Early December Samsung said that they already sold 1m Galaxy Tab tablets world-wide. Samsung is using the carrier model to sell the Galaxy Tab. We just got word of a new Samsung Galaxy Tab TV commercial that targets college graduates. Samsung tries to attach the Galaxy Tab to the transition from school to the real world.

Running on Android 2.2, the Samsung Galaxy Tab features a 7-inch touch screen, 3MP camera, 1.3MP webcam, 4000mAh battery, HTML Web browsing experience with full support for Adobe Flash 10.1 for video and mobile gaming and a 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird Application processor.

Amazon is selling the Galaxy Tab with different carrier contracts and also as pre-paid option.
