Black Friday Deals Tracker is Live

ToysRUs just announced to keep their stores open 88 continuous hours starting next Tuesday Dec. 21 at 6am until 10pm Christmas Eve (not available in all States). You cannot use the excuse that the toy store was closed when you forget one of the toys that your kids wanted for Christmas. This is the first time that all Toys“R”Us stores across the country will stay open 24-hours per day during the final countdown to Christmas. Is this a desperate move or maximizing the Holiday sales of 2010? Overall online holiday business is up compared to last year, but I have the feeling that December has not been that great so far compared to November (Black Friday month).

This weekend huge holiday sales are launching that will draw tons of shoppers. I expect that this weekend will have the strongest sales days for December.

ToysRUs will also have a weekend sale and their final 2-Day Holiday sale starting next Tuesday. In addition Toys“R”Us will offer special “Midnight Madness” deals valid in-store from midnight through 6am each day, beginning at midnight Dec. 22.
