NEC offers details on CES gear

We have already talked a bit about the cool new NEC dual screen tablet that is going to be at CES 2011 next month. NEC has offered up some advanced details on some of the other things that it will be showing off at CES 2011 at the Pepcom Digital Experience.

Among the gear on display will be the NEC Dual Screen Cloud Communicator Tablet with a pair of 7-inch screens. The tablet runs Android and packs in WiFi, 3G, and Bluetooth. It can run different programs on each screen, which is cool. It will also accept input from a stylus. Along with that dual screen tablet is a single screen Cloud communicator tablet running Android and packing in the same features as the dual screen version.

NEC will also show off Personal Products Mobile Notebook that runs Android. The company offers no details on that notebook though. NEC will have a new home gateway solution that supports ADSL2+/802.11n/USB2.0/DECT and has all sorts of other features like media control, and printer/file sharing capability. The final new offering will be the NEC BIGLOBE andronavi Android app marketplace. It will have Japanese content like Magna and photographs among other things.
