New OEM gear at CES

QuickLogic is a company that makes new OEM products that are sold by other brands. At CES 2011, it will be showing off some new Customer Specific Standard Product (CSSP) solutions. That means products that it builds specifically to customer specs. The new solution will be for the mobile device market.

Among the products will be a new visual enhancement engine and display power optimizer that are able to extend the battery life of a device up to 36%. The company will also be showing off 3G USB data cards for OEMs with USB and SDHC host controllers.

Another of the products will be a 3D display that works in all backlight and ambient light conditions. The products will be shown in a private suite at the show and not on the normal floor. That often means the companies the gear was designed for will be showing it off in the open.
