Hybrid car gets another price increase

If you follow green cars or hybrids you might be familiar with the cool Fisker Karma hybrid. The car first debuted at Detroit Auto Show in 2008 and at the time, the MSRP was pegged at $80,000. That price was later upped to $87,900 and now the price is going up again significantly.

According to Autoblog Green, the new price of the Fisker Karma is now $95,900. That nearly $96K gets you the entry-level model called the EcoStandard. The EcoSport starts at $103,000, and the EcoChic starts at $108,900. All of the models get a delivery charge of $950.

There are also a number of features that are available as options to like tri-tone leather for another $2,200, Diamond Dust paint for $3,000, and "special paint" for another $300. The car is supposed to hit the market in February of March unless it is delayed again.
